Theatre Passe Muraille means Theatre Beyond Walls — Inside these walls is a hub for alternative and indie theatre projects; created for and with an audience, examining the marginal, the unexplored and the unforeseen.
We are located in the heart of Toronto, near the Queen street West/Bathurst intersection. TPM is a historic building: A bakery and stable that has been renovated into intimate theatre spaces. Since 1968, this building has produced some of Canada’s most iconic experimental and alternative shows.
The neighbourhood is vibrant with restaurants and cafés along Queen street west, so you can plan a great night out when you come see a show!
All of our tickets in the 22.23 season offers Pay-What-You-Can-Afford tickets, starting at $10. Because we believe theatre should be financially accessible to everyone.
