Toka by Indrit Kasapi | A lemonTree creations and Theatre Passe Muraille Digital Co-Production
Toka tells the story of siblings who wrestle with a long-standing land dispute. In turn, the cycle results in generational death after death. Delicate, evocative and heart-breaking, this startling work of physical theatre is about modern-day blood feuds in post-Communist Albania. What are Audio Described Performances?
Audio Described Performances offer patrons who are Blind or Low Vision companion pieces to the shows. In turn, these companion piece outlines the events happening onstage such as relevant sets, costumes and non-verbal actions. In addition to this, TPM also explores non-traditional and experimental forms of audio description.
For Toka, TPM is offering non-traditional audio described performances. The shows featuring Audio Description will run on April 21 at 7:30pm & April 23 at 7:30pm. The feature audio describer is Cole Alvis.
